Montfort Heritage Gallery

On 5 January 2013, the Montfort Heritage Gallery was officially opened by Mr Ng Kok Song, the retiring Group Chief Investment Officer of Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC), and a loyal Montfortian and benefactor.
The Gallery traces the history of the Montfort Schools from the time it was founded in 1916 by the Brothers of St Gabriel to the present time.  Tracing the development of the schools over specific periods, the Gallery captures the pulse of the different eras of the schools through photographs, artefacts, video footage and the voices of Principals, teachers and students.  Besides Mr Ng, the Gallery features other prominent alumni such as His Grace Archbishop Nicholas Chia, Coadjutor Archbishop-Elect William Goh, former Cabinet Ministers Mr Lim Boon Heng and Mr Lee Boon Yang, as well as multi-generations of Montfortian families.
With this gallery, current and future generations of Montfortians can better appreciate their rich heritage, and be inspired by the past generations to live out the school’s motto, “Age Quod Agis – Do well in whatever you do”.
